15 years ago, I was in middle school drawing on my bed. Suddenly an idea popped into my head. It was a simple idea; to draw a character based on myself. I didn't want to name her Kathryn or Katie, so I named her after my middle name, Danielle. A year later I would add her last name, Corona. With every drawing I made, she evolved and grew into her own separate character. Back then, she was everything to me, and today she's still an important part of my life. Danielle Corona is the source of all my inspiration, my hopes, my dreams, and even my career. If I never created her, I wouldn't have found my love for Nintendo and video games. I wouldn't have gone to art college to get my Bachelors in Game Design. I wouldn't have found all of my friends that I'm surrounded by today. So, from the bottom of my heart: Thank you Dana, for everything. My hope is that, one day, you'll inspire many more people's lives and give them so much joy. Just as you have done for me. <3
